To do or not to do, that is the question. What could I be speaking about? Why Bonnie Hunter's Winter Mystery quilt Grand Illusions of course! I always start a project with good intentions, however i wonder if I should be realistic this year? Last year's Celtic Solstice (above) is still in pieces and the year before's mystery, Easy Street (below) is still a lonely quilt top, a mere flimsy. Would it be right for me to start yet another project? Are you planning to join in this year on the mystery?
*\o/* Cheers
Of course you must join in! You have a whole month to push through Celtic Solstice! :)
ReplyDeleteOhh do it there is no question about that ... I admit I'm alittle further than you, I actually have a back made for my Easy Street ... My celtic solstice is yes maybe a little further along than yours, I actually do hae some blocks sew together ...
ReplyDeleteBut it's just a sort of tradition already ... come Christmas you go all cazy tryign to squeeze in as many minutes of "aimlessly" piecing strips and stacks and counting to 400 and recounting because you are sure you lost count somewhere around 200 ...
And she promise it would be easier ... not that any of them are really Easy, some are just more do-able than the others ..
I'm going to join ... even though it will probably take me another few years to finish the stuff
I plan to do Grand Illusion....if I can be home long enough to work on it! At the very least, I will be saving & printing each set of instructions. My own Easy Street and Celtic Solstice have only reached the flimsy stage, though one of them may still need borders, so you're not alone. I love Bonnie Hunter's Mysteries - so much fun trying to guess the outcome.
ReplyDeleteNo dilemma at all! You HAVE to join us! I can't miss Bonnie's mystery now!
